I haven't shared in a recipe in a while and so with the hubby and big kids outside, all the little ones and I figured cookie making would give us something fun to do!

Oatmeal is is one of my children's all time favorite cookies... You can add anything to it.

In a large mixing bowl combine 1 cup soft butter with 1 1/2 cups sugar and cream together. Add in two eggs and beat till fluffy.
In a medium sized bowl sift 1 3/4 cup flour, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp baking soda and 1 tsp cinnamon. Mix together and then add 2 cups of oatmeal.
Now gradually combine dry ingredients into wet ingredients while slowly adding in 1/2 cup of milk. Once ingredients are completely combine stir in 1 to 1 1/2 cups raisins.
Drop teaspoons of batter on greased baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 12-15 minutes.
Please note this recipe makes six dozen cookies
